James Hubbell

In 2022, we had the distinct honor and privilege to partner with artist and architect James Hubbell and the entire Ilan-Lael Foundation team, bringing to life his work in a wonderfully rich and expressive exhibition at Helms. James and Anne Hubbell’s story is one that embraces a passion for art, architecture, and design wrapped in a stunning life-long philosophy that invites collaboration and dialogue, all in harmony with nature. The exhibition was a small glimpse of James Hubbell’s lifetime work, but was a transformative experience nonetheless, for us and for anyone who visited the installation.

Last week, we lost Jim at the life-fulfilling age of 92. We will always admire his generosity, vision, inspiration, artistry, and passion. We are beyond grateful to have been in his orbit for a brief moment in time, but the indelible mark he left on our community through his art will be felt forever. Your energy, Jim, will always remain.
