Dwell on Design, the premier interior design show showcasing modern furnishings and innovative products from over 2000 vendors, opened today at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Walking one block west to the Expo line, FitBit at the ready, we hopped on the train and explored the show.
First stop is our favorite section in the show, OUTDOOR. Wandering through, we visited Method Homes in collaboration with Make It Right, checked out a storage container studio, sat inside the swank-iest teepee around and took some notes in the water-wise garden display. Rejuvenation was there to represent at Method Homes, hosting an enter-to-win raffle. Looking for some D.I.Y. outdoor design ideas? Check out ShapeCrete’s project ideas. All is all, Outdoor did not disappoint.
METALLIC made its way into to every section of the show. We found blingy trees from Avalon Fountains, lighting fixtures, wallpaper, decorative bowls, tile, and jewel-tone chairs. While shiny gold and brass finishes are not new, we definitely Loved It!
Eye-popping COLOR meandered throughout and could be seen on the OFFECCT Carry On stools by Mattias Stensberg, furniture from FermobUSA, entire rooms in sunny yellow, and cherry red bicycles from Martone Cycling.
Before we headed back to the Expo line, we stopped for a warm, soft pretzel treat. It’s a good thing we clocked in at 3.47 miles during this trip! We only covered a few of the many highlights from the show so if you’re looking to get your home decorating juices flowing, venture over to Dwell on Design this weekend.
