We invite you to join us on Helms Walk, our pedestrian plaza on Helms Avenue, for our 7th Annual Sunset Cinema series. This year, we are craving a little action and adventure so we’ll host four weeks of outdoor screenings of some of our favorite classic action/adventure/sci-fi films. First up in our series: RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK. Come by early to shop, grab a bite or get a movie snack to go. We’ll provide plenty of chairs, so bring your friends and neighbors for a little free fun under the stars! Free Valet parking on Helms Avenue and Venice Boulevard.

Indiana Jones (Harrison Ford) is no ordinary archeologist. When we first see him, he is somewhere in the Peruvian jungle in 1936, running a booby-trapped gauntlet (complete with an over-sized rolling boulder) to fetch a solid-gold idol. He loses this artifact to his chief rival, a French archeologist named Belloq (Paul Freeman), who then prepares to kill our hero. In the first of many serial-like escapes, Indy eludes Belloq throughout the film and takes the audience on a 115-minute thrill ride.
