Staying Alive! How to Create and Maintain an Art Practice with Mary Little
November 13, 2019 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
On Wednesday, November 13th from 7:00 to 9:00 pm, please join Textile Arts Los Angeles for a seminar about how to create and maintain an art practice, with artist Mary Little.
In this seminar, Mary Little will relate her personal experience of creating and maintaining a sustainable art practice. That is, placing her work in homes and public spaces, and in turn having a healthy cashflow to continue making art! Mary will talk about how she developed her niche, set up a system to communicate regularly with collectors and buyers, and how she helps them purchase work. In essence, this seminar will cover how she organizes the business aspect of her studio practice. This event is open to any artist wishing to be rewarded for their work. There will be plenty of opportunity for questions and discussions.
ABOUT MARY LITTLE

She is a graduate of the Royal College of Art, London. Her work has been acquired for private collections in Europe and North America, as well as public collections including the Victoria & Albert Museum, London and the Museum of Decorative Arts, Paris. She is a 2019 recipient of a Pollock-Krasner Foundation Grant and lives in Los Angeles.
