On Saturday, July 10th from 11:00 am to 1:00 PM, please join Textile Arts LA for their once-a-year material swap.  (Member preview 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. / Everyone welcome 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.)

Many of us took advantage of the isolation of the past year to dig into our studio practices and unearth (or, eeeks, add to) our stashes. Do you have piles of excess material in your studio, stashed in the closets and under the bed at home, languishing in plastic bins stacked one on top of the next? The Swap is for you! JOIN US for a swap-barter-giveaway.

All materials welcome: fabric, tools and equipment, notions, samples, paints, adhesives, paper, yarn, scraps, easels, storage containers, more. Your never-been-used or no-longer-used item could be the solution to someone else’s needs. Attendance is free; no RSVP required.

*Tables are available to rent for $10, and we have 10 available. Please limit 1 table per person. Each table is 8’ x 3.5’. You are welcome to BYOT.
There is abundant street parking at the Helms Design Center. Set-up will open at 9am. Please note you will be responsible for setting up your own table. Please provide proof of Covid-19 vaccination(s) or mandatory masks are required at the door.
