Join Textile Arts Los Angeles on Wednesday, June 9th at 7:00 PM as they host tonight's Textile Slam, an opportunity to enjoy a peek at artists' work, indulge in some friendly conversation, and spend time with fellow textile enthusiasts. Textile Arts | Los Angeles invites you to Crafting Bokjumeoni. You may have wondered about the small, colorful bags you see in museums, and carried by ladies wearing hanbok, a traditional Korean garment. In this workshop Dong Kyu will teach participants how to make their own bokjumeoni.
Textile Arts | Los Angeles invites you to Meditative Block Printing with Dusty Guerra. In this workshop, participants will learn an alternative approach to relief printmaking utilizing a press-less printing method while discovering a repetitive process that will calm the mind and enrich a creative outlet.
