On Sunday, March 15th from 1:00 to 4:00 pm, please join Textile Arts Los Angeles and local fiber artist and spinning expert Anna Zinsmeister  for The Art of Spinning, a hands-on experience spinning Karakul sheep wool sourced from a ranch in the northern edge of Los Angeles County. We’ll discuss the method and challenges of processing fleece into spin-able material, practice spinning with a hand spindle, and learn a bit about the various types of wool fibers and their uses.
