Use All Five Returns to Helms with an Open Studios Night

For this event, they're embracing a special format: a take on the "open studios" night.

Opening Exhibition with Artist Liza Philosof at the Helms Design Center

On Thursday, November 15th from  7 to 10 pm, please join us for the opening event - L A Y E R S – the first solo exhibition by Liza Philosof to take place in Los Angeles.

L A Y E R S contains paintings made by Philosof between 2015 and 2018, along with a video made last year during an art residence on Pico Island.  One of the major inspiration sources for the artist was her visit to Pico Island and being surrounded by 3 elements: water, basalt stone, and plants. Some paintings are drawn with markers on canvas, with most of the paintings produced with acrylics during the summer of 2018.

On Saturday, November 17th from 6:30 to 10 pm, Huntington's Disease Society and Louis Poulsen invite you to the first annual Celebration of Hope Gala - Shine a Light on HD.  The Shine a Light on HD Gala will be a night to remember as members of the Lighting and Architectural Design communities join forces in support of those faced with HD.
