People don’t remember each tree in a park but all of us benefit from the trees. And in a way, artists are like trees in a park.

About Ricardo
As a creative director, designer and copywriter, Ricardo Caillet-Bois has worked with domestic and global brands, garnering national and international recognition and awards.
He studied at Universidad de Buenos Aires in Argentina, where he was born, and later at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena. Caillet-Bois lectures and teaches at several advertising and design schools on the West Coast.
People, music, art, and nature have always been Ricardo’s focus in life. His ongoing fine art obsession of the past 30 years has been the exploration and drawing of trees, some of which are included in art collections of corporate and private clients.
“My delicate drawings of trees call attention to their infinite forms and personalities, every one as original and unique as each of us.
I reintroduce trees onto these expendable and discarded cardboard pieces with simple ink and pencil renderings. By doing so, the trees finally come full circle, reclaimed as a piece of art, and reminding viewers of the cardboard’s origin and value.”
