On Sunday, November 13th from 1:00 to 3:00 PM, come participate in the creative process of CONTRA-TIEMPO’S newest work ¡AZÚCAR! during this Choreographic Lab inside Helms Bakery’s Washington Corridor Gallery.

We invite you to witness a small work in progress, create your own movement/theater-based work around the themes explored in the piece (ancestral healing, movement, sugar, sweetness, etc.), and share your own stories connected to the work in council circles. Council is an age-old practice that involves bringing people together in a circle to bear witness and share authentically.
