About Ariel
Ariel Lee is an artist and illustrator based out of Southern California. An avid hiker and climber, her works are direct reflections of her personal experience in nature.
Fear and love are two things Ariel Lee is driven by. Her fear that she will miss the fleeting moments that surround our daily lives – the rosy sunshine illuminating a window or the sharp shadow cast on the north face of a tree-lined mountain. Her love for the subtle and fluid nature of painting and playing with mismatched color combinations. Her work is a mixture of documentation and poetry — a reminder that there is a constant mysterious beauty surrounding us.
